I am an art historian, graphic designer, and painter with a great affinity for interior design and architecture. Born in Graz in 1987, I have been living in the beautiful South Styria since 2018. Since 2021, I have been working as a self-employed graphic designer.
I deliberately move between disciplines, dancing daily between design, photography, and painting. I do not view the boundaries between these fields as barriers, but as transitions that inspire each other. Therefore, I consider working interdisciplinarily in the artistic field to be a logical, natural process.
In my art, I explore the theme of "interior as an art motif." My works are an homage to the silent icons of design history, a visual bow to those design classics that have shaped our understanding of form, function, and creative intelligence. Detached from their practical use, I translate them into painterly compositions of lines and surfaces. Form without function emerges, and at the same time, a dialogue between design and art. The purpose of the object becomes obsolete, while aesthetics and visual language become omnipresent.
